Two of the most influential forces in Southern hip-hop history are teaming up for a historic arena concert series.
Hip-hop pioneers Bryan “Birdman” Williams (co-founder of Cash Money Records) and Percy “Master P” Miller (founder of No Limit Records) have officially announced a co-headlining tour scheduled to hit major cities across the United States. The tour marks the first time these two legendary, formerly rival New Orleans music empires have united for a joint touring venture to celebrate the legacy of the New Orleans labels that helped reshape independent music and popularize Southern hip-hop in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

The 17-city outing kicks-off Sept. 11 at Houston’s Toyota Center, with stops scheduled in New Orleans, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Washington and other major markets before and wrapping Nov. 15 at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena. Alongside Birdman and Master P, the lineup includes Juvenile, Mannie Fresh, B.G., Silkk the Shocker, Mia X, Mac, Mercedes, Fiend, Choppa Style and Mr. Serv-On, with Boosie Badazz appearing as a special guest on select dates.
Promoters have billed the event as “One time. One stage. One night,” bringing together artists whose catalogs defined an era of Southern rap. In a statement, Master P said, “The fans have been waiting for a tour like this for a long time. We came from New Orleans and built something the world had never seen before — movements that changed music, hip hop culture, and the business forever.”
