Swae Lee has released the official music video for “SUITCASE,” a collaboration with French Montana from his debut solo album, SAME DIFFERENCE which arrived this past spring.
The video for SUITCASE brings the two artists back together nearly a decade after their Diamond-certified hit “Unforgettable. Directed by Austin McCracken, the visual turns the song’s travel theme into a surreal fashion-focused adventure. It begins with Swae Lee working at the fictional “Swae Airlines” as a TSA employee before a flagged suitcase transports him into a dreamlike setting featuring designer clothing and the Northern Lights. French Montana later appears outside a nightclub, and the pair ultimately share the screen atop a towering pile of Louis Vuitton trunks.
“SUITCASE” is one of several collaborations on the 16-track SAME DIFFERENCE, which also includes features from Post Malone, Jhené Aiko, NAV, Rich The Kid and Slim Jxmmi. The album represents Swae Lee’s first official solo studio project and follows a notable period for the artist, including Diamond certification for Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” and a double-Diamond certification for his Grammy-nominated collaboration with Post Malone, “Sunflower.”
Swae Lee also recently wrapped up his SAME DIFFERENCE European Tour, which saw the 16-city run making stops in Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Germany and Denmark before concluding in Szeged, Hungary.
